AFTRA President Comments on WGA Tentative Agreement

AFTRA issued the following statement by President Roberta Reardon regarding the announcement that the Writers Guild of America has reached a tentative agreement with the AMPTP: "AFTRA congratulates the Writers Guild of America for successfully negotiating a tentative agreement with the employers. We applaud the WGA's efforts to win improved conditions for its members, especially in the area of new media. AFTRA members are working towards commencing our upcoming TV negotiations, and we're determined to be focused, deliberate, and prudent as we engage with the employers to negotiate the best possible agreements for performers."
