It's time again for the Ask A Working Woman Survey.

Every two years, the AFL-CIO and Working America conduct a survey to capture the views of working women. Participating in the "Ask a Working Woman" survey will give you a chance to tell the AFL-CIO how you feel about your job, how the recession has affected your family and what you hope and worry the next five years will bring. They'll take what you and tens of thousands of other women submit and make sure decision-makers and the media hear what you have to say.

The last working women's survey in 2008 resulted in thousands of responses from women across the country. This year, AFTRA wants to help reach even more women. Survey results will be an invaluable tool for moving working women’s issues into the national dialogue.

“AFTRA women work in every single part of our entertainment and news industry and we’ve fought discrimination that tried to keep us in our place or to remain silent," said AFTRA National President and  AFL-CIO Vice President Roberta Reardon. "We do indeed have something to say. Join me in taking this important online survey.”

The survey will be online through Aug. 13, so please take time TODAY to speak out on issues of importance to you. Take the 2010 Ask a Working Woman survey. Click here to take the survey.
