AFTRA Los Angeles Board terms begin May 30 and continue through June 30, 2010. National Board terms also begin May 30 and continue through the conclusion of AFTRA’s 2011 Convention.
A total of 3011 valid ballots were received.
The rerun election, including the tabulation of ballots, was supervised by the U.S. Department of Labor as a result of a voluntary settlement between AFTRA and the DOL following a challenge to the original May 22, 2007, election. Except for a Singer Category seat on the AFTRA National Board, nominations were not reopened, and candidates in the contested election ran again in the DOL supervised election.
