Arizona Child Labor Laws
Child labor laws for the State of Arizona fall under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Industrial Commission, Labor Department. Child performers in motion picture, television, radio and theatrical productions must be registered before production commences. A letter from the production company must include the following information:
1. Name of the child performer under 18.
2. Address.
3. Production name, address and phone.
4. Production start-up and completion dates.
5. Location(s) of employment.
6. Hours of employment.
7. Other pertinent information.
If the producer is signatory to any AFTRA or SAG contract, all provisions regarding minors must be strictly observed.
