Le Prix International Film Star Awards

It was a grand time as New Orleans hosted the 2004 Le Prix International Film Star Awards. The announcer for the evening, March 28, 2004, was Louisiana's own John "Spud" McConnell and the evening was hosted by Catherine Dent.

Some of the actors who walked down the red carpet were Linda Blair, David Carradine, Crispin Glover, Olivia Hussey, Sally Kirkland, Matthew Modine, Cliff Robertson, Mickey Rooney, Clementine Shepherd-Ford, Brenda Vaccaro and Ben Vereen among others.

Also recognized during the show was the New Orleans Talent Coalition, a group developed by the ACNO-AFTRA partnership.  Coalition members attending the event included Stacey L. Bennett, Diana Boylston, Sandra Croom, Lara Wessel, and T. J. Toups. The New Orleans Talent Coalition has some of the newest, brightest and experienced talent in the New Orleans area.

Musical performances at the Awards Ceremony included Alexis, Dragonmasters, Doug Kershaw and Charmaine Neville with Blessed Gospel Group.

The party continued into the night at the historical Fairmont Hotel's Blue Room. It was a great opportunity to network with industry participants. Musical performers at the gala included New Orleans Talent Coalition member Diana Boylston, accompanied by pianist-composer Wesley Clark.
