AFTRA Kansas City will celebrate 50 years of service to AFTRA members in Kansas City with a party starting 6:30pm on Monday, September 24. Come celebrate with fellow AFTRA members and area industry partners at the American Heartland Theatre in Kansas City. AFTRA National First Vice President Bob Edwards will be joining us as a special guest.

We’ll be honoring 10 longtime members, 5 broadcasters (Reed Black, Scott deJong, Craig Hoerler, Chris King, Dan Verbeck) and 5 freelancers (John Jessup, Don Scott, Andrea Seese, Barbara Sullivan, Dean Vivian). 

A radio comedy troupe “Right Between the Ears” (made up largely of AFTRA K.C. members) will perform.
