Assistant Executive Director Appointment
Ethan Bordman has joined the AFTRA Detroit Local staff as the Assistant Executive Director. “Ethan will solidify and expand work opportunities in the freelance area. He will bring new energy and vision for the future,” said AFTRA Detroit Local Executive Director Lorain Obomanu. “This is of critical importance at a time of diminishing work opportunities resulting from increasing non-union production, runaway production and corporate cut-backs that is having a profound impact on Michigan AFTRA member lives and livelihoods.”
Mr. Bordman served as an entertainment lawyer in private practice providing representation to entertainers, screenwriters & musical artists in entertainment ventures such as film production, financing, contract drafting, negotiations and copyright enforcement.
