Has this ever happened to you?

• A producer calls you and dangles money (a job) in front of you, only to add, “but it’s got to be non-union."

• A producer calls you directly, having heard your demo.  You ask them to call your agent, only to NEVER hear from them again.

• A producer you’ve worked with before calls and asks if there’s any chance you’ll work "off the card just this once."

Award-winning voiceover artist and former AFTRA National Board member, Sheldon Smith, will show you HOW TO TURN A NON-UNION OFFER INTO A UNION JOB. Sheldon, an AFTRA member since 1965, has been teaching this successful seminar for several years in Washington, DC, and New York. His workshop has helped countless union performers enhance their careers by using his methods. He will be in Atlanta for one night only to help you understand the dynamics of negotiating these scenarios and to give you the tools you need, even giving you the script to do so!  And, in our Right-to-Work (For-Less) state, this information will enable you to be more competitive on jobs that you thought would only be done non-union!

This information will ONLY be available if you attend the seminar and will not be reproduced, so don’t miss out!

Your AFTRA Atlanta Local staff will also be on hand to answer specific questions and so you’ll know who to call for help!

Please RSVP to Melissa Goodman at 404.239.0131 x11 or mgoodman@aftra.com.

Space is limited.

“In our industry, there are few performers who have the knowledge and experience Sheldon has. This is a mandatory event for any union performer who is constantly competing against non-union performers.  It will empower you and level the playing field so you’ll increase your chances for success.”
