We Can Help Supplement Your AFTRA Health Insurance with Discounts & Alternatives

Many members face difficulties in becoming eligible for AFTRA Health & Retirement benefits and in seeking additional coverage for themselves and their families. That is why the National Board has authorized agreements with several independent benefit providers to make supplementary benefit programs available to all members.

Those programs include:

• Supplemental Dental & Vision Plan—offered by Group Benefit Associates to AFTRA members who participate in the AFTRA Health Fund.  This plan allows members to purchase additional dental & vision coverage to supplement their preventative only dental plan. • Stand Alone Dental & Vision Plan—offered by Group Benefit Associates to AFTRA members who are not eligible for the AFTRA Health Fund.  This plan allows members to purchase dental & vision coverage regardless of earnings requirements. • TEIGIT: The Entertainment Industry Group Insurance Trust—This is a month-by-month program only available in the following areas: California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Greater Chicago, Greater Atlanta, Florida, Greater New York. The Dental Plan is available in most states. Features include no claim forms, no deductibles, no dollar limits per year, no lifetime maximums, and no charge for basic dental care.
