Come on Down!

Bob Barker—who’s worked continuously on weekly television for a record 50 years—helps celebrate AFTRA’s 70th birthday. The 19-time Emmy Award–winning game-show host has been a member since getting his start in radio in the early 1950s. He says, “It is so attractive to work in radio and so attractive to work in TV that young people would probably do it for nothing. AFTRA helps protect us to make sure we’re able to make a living at something we love.”
