
The people who entertain and inform America proudly congratulate all the winners of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.
We applaud the AFTRA program “Modern Family” for its honors, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Eric Stonestreet for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. We also applaud Edie Falco for her win as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as “Jackie Peyton” in the AFTRA program “Nurse Jackie” and Archie Panjabi for her honors as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the AFTRA program “The Good Wife.”
We also congratulate AFTRA member George Clooney who was honored with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award for his efforts in raising money and awareness of the crisis in Darfur, as well as for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the earthquake in Haiti and the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
AFTRA programs honored with Emmys last night also include the “63rd Annual Tony Awards” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”

The 62nd annual Primetime Emmys were produced by AFTRA-signatory employer Don Mischer Productions. AFTRA members employed in the live telecast of the Primetime Emmys include award winners and nominees, royalty artists, hosts, background vocalists, dancers and stand-in professionals.
